Overview

The Google Merchandise Store (GMS) is an online platform that sells branded merchandise of the tech giant, Google. The purpose of this case is to create an web analytics dashboard showing selected monthly KPIs related to web traffic, session duration, bounce rate, and others to analyze the performance of the webstore in it’s first year of operation. The project was completed as a part of the WeCloudData Business Intelligence Bootcamp coursework.

Data Sources

The sample dataset contains obfuscated Google Analytics 360 data from the Google Merchandise Store, a real ecommerce store. The Google Merchandise Store sells Google branded merchandise. The data is typical of what you would see for an ecommerce website.

Data was source via Big Query: bigquery-public-data.google_analytics_sample

Data was queried in Big Query and exported into a .csv file, then imported to Tableau for analysis.
